Arizona’s Viral Hamas Supporter And Provocateur Arrested Again At Gilbert Gym

Arizona’s Viral Hamas Supporter And Provocateur Arrested Again At Gilbert Gym

By Staff Reporter |

A prominent Hamas supporter and online influencer was arrested again this week, this time for trespassing.

Saiaf Abdallah — the Gilbert-area CEO of the Tempe-based Voyage Medical who goes by the username “Resistance is Beautiful” online — was arrested for trespassing after refusing to leave a Lifetime gym in Gilbert from which he was asked to leave.

In his recording of an interaction with Lifetime management and police, Abdallah wore a black t-shirt that read “Israel Kills Children… and we pay for it with taxes.” The management member informed Abdallah that he had trespassed because his membership wasn’t active. In response, Abdallah questioned whether the employee was motivated by bigotry or racism.

“Is the problem the shirt? Or the skin color?” asked Abdallah. “Are you offended by the shirt, or by the fact that you guys kill all of the Palestinians in the gyms over there?”

Abdallah then claimed to cops that the gym staff trespassed him for his shirt, not his inactive membership.

“They’ve always said, ‘Oh that shirt is offensive’ — typical Gilbert white supremacy stuff,” said Abdallah.

Following his latest arrest, Abdallah launched a GoFundMe fundraiser to cover the cost of court cases and his protesting across the state. As of this report, Abdallah’s GoFundMe has raised over $11,000 of its $12,000 goal from about 250 donors.

Abdallah has had frequent run-ins with law enforcement over his activism.

Earlier this week, Abdallah was detained for obstructing a public thoroughfare along a busy road. Like in his other videos, Abdallah wore his “Israel Kills Children” t-shirt, along with a keffiyeh headband. As he does in other videos frequently, Abdallah carried a Palestinian flag on a makeshift flagpole.

In 2023, Abdallah was arrested at a pro-Hamas protest led by Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib at Arizona State University following Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel. In the months following that attack, Abdallah organized pro-Hamas protests at Arizona malls, including “die-ins” during Black Friday shopping, and helped coordinate a protest inside of Senator Mark Kelly’s office.

Although he was trespassed from ASU property in November 2023, Abdallah’s posted videos online show he participated in pro-Hamas protests on the public property abutting ASU campuses and around the Valley through the better half of last year.

Abdallah has been active with the Arizona chapter of CAIR. The national CAIR is an entity of the Muslim Brotherhood officially linked to Hamas activity.

Abdallah has been documented extensively by Canary Mission, an organization that profiles individuals and organizations promoting hatred of the U.S., Israel, and Jewish people.

Under the username “@Vingati2” on X, Abdallah expressed overt support for Hamas violence.

“Palestinians are going to take thousands more hostage. This is f*****g LIBERATION, and it isn’t pretty,” wrote Abdallah in one post.

“Hamas is eating your b***h a*s soldiers. They weak like you,” wrote Abdallah in another post. “Liberation is gonna get shoved down your f*****g throat.”

Abdallah’s father, Akram Abdallah, was sentenced to 18 months in prison in 2010 for making false statements to the FBI regarding his raising funds for the Holy Land Foundation for Relief & Development (HLF), a criminal organization that provided material support for Hamas. Character support letters submitted to the sentencing court identified Abdallah as the son of Akram Abdallah.

Abdallah maintained similar sentiments as his father around that time. While his father was facing trial for his ties to Hamas, Abdallah was active with Students For Justice in Palestine (SFJP) while attending Arizona State University. Abdallah filmed and edited multiple videos of SFJP activism.

Reps. Nguyen And Bliss Blast CFRT’s ‘Radical’ Call To Remove Firearms From Arizona Homes

Reps. Nguyen And Bliss Blast CFRT’s ‘Radical’ Call To Remove Firearms From Arizona Homes

By Matthew Holloway |

A report released by the Arizona Child Fatality Review Team (CFRT) has generated severe backlash from Arizona State Representatives Quang Nguyen and Selina Bliss, who serve as Chair and Vice-Chair of the House Judiciary Committee. The backlash came after the CFRT made the blatant unconstitutional recommendation to “remove all firearms in households with children,” claiming that “the presence of firearms in a household increases the risk of suicide among adolescents.”

According to a press release from the Arizona House of Representatives, Reps. Nguyen and Bliss penned a letter to Jennie Cunico, Cabinet Executive Officer of the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), voicing in the strongest possible terms their objections to the CFRT’s report.

In their letter, Nguyen and Bliss wrote:

“We are appalled that the CFRT, speaking on behalf of the Arizona Department of Health Services, is actually advocating for stripping Arizonans of their Second Amendment rights in their own homes. This radical proposal is reminiscent of New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s 2023 gun control order, which attempted to prohibit carrying of firearms in public for self-defense. You may recall that Governor Grisham’s order—accurately characterized as ‘insanely unconstitutional’ and ‘outrageous’—was swiftly blocked in court.

“The CFRT’s ‘do something’ approach to child-fatality legislation would not only violate the constitutional rights of millions of Arizonans; it is also irrational from a policy perspective. The CFRT’s Report notes that 31 children drowned in 2023 and that the majority of these deaths occurred in pools and hot tubs. Yet the CFRT does not recommend the elimination of pools and hot tubs. Instead, the CFRT advocates for common-sense ideas: ‘close, constant supervision of children when around water, increased availability and affordability of swim lessons for children, and proper pool enclosures.’

“Effective policy solutions—even for problems that are difficult and complex—must be designed to fully protect constitutional rights and liberties. We urge you to direct the CFRT to reconsider its unjustified attack on the Second Amendment and amend its Report.”

“Proposals to strip citizens of their firearms are not only unconstitutional but also lack common sense,” Nguyen explained. “While the report suggests reasonable safety measures for other risks, such as drowning, the CFRT overreaches by advocating for the elimination of firearms entirely from homes with children.”

“Our state should focus on education and safe practices, not on extreme measures that undermine individual liberties,” Representative Bliss agreed. “We stand firm in defending the Second Amendment rights of Arizona families.”

In a later post to X, Nguyen acknowledged an op-ed from AZCentral’s Laurie Roberts criticizing him for his stance writing, “Anytime Roberts writes about my work negatively, I know I’m doing the right thing. I’m very sure she’s okay with abortion of innocent children.”

Roberts suggested the report’s call to remove guns from Arizona homes does not violate the Constitution and “goes on to recommend that ‘parents of adolescents should remove all guns from their homes, especially if there is a history of mental health issues or substance abuse issues.’ This because more children are dying by suicide, with close to half killing themselves with guns.”

However, as the Representatives point out, the language explicitly used by the report is as follows:

“Since the CFRP determined that access to guns was the biggest risk factor for firearm deaths, CFRP believes that the most effective way to prevent firearm-related deaths in children is to remove all firearms in households with children because the presence of firearms in a household increases the risk of suicide among adolescents.”

The recommendation of the CFRT is direct, unambiguous, and lacks the nuance suggested by the local columnist.

The CFRT is comprised mostly of appointees nominated by the state officers who were in turn appointed or nominated by Democrats Governor Katie Hobbs and Attorney General Kris Mayes.

DAVID BLACKMON: 10 Things Trump Can Do In The First 100 Days For Energy Independence

DAVID BLACKMON: 10 Things Trump Can Do In The First 100 Days For Energy Independence

By David Blackmon |

President-elect Donald Trump has a big job ahead of him in restoring common sense and sanity to federal energy policy when he takes office on January 20. The last four years in this realm can more accurately be characterized as a series of ill-considered, irrational scams than as any sort of coherent, productive set of policies. It has been four years of bad policies — largely based on crass crony capitalism principles — that has done severe damage to America’s level of energy security.

There is no doubt that cleaning up this mess left behind by President Joe Biden and his appointees will take the full four years of Trump’s second term. But the new president will be able to take some fast actions to jump-start the process as part of his first 100 days agenda.

With respect, here is a list of 10 quick common-sense actions Trump can take to begin to restore America’s energy security:

1 — Rescind Biden’s ridiculous permitting “pause” on LNG export infrastructure. Of all the Biden energy policy scams, this was perhaps the most heinous and unjustified of all. Terminate it immediately and get this American growth industry back on track.

2 — Terminate U.S. participation in the Paris Climate Agreement and in any future annual COP conferences sponsored by the United Nations. Halt the spending of federal dollars related to any and all goals and commitments related to either of these wasteful processes.

3 — Terminate the office of Senior Advisor to the President for International Climate Policy, aka “the Climate Envoy,” currently occupied by John Podesta and eliminate its budget.

4 — Turnabout being fair play, Trump should invoke a “pause” of his own related to permits and subsidies going to Biden’s pet offshore wind boondoggle. The pause would be justified by the need to conduct a truly thorough study on the potential impacts of those massive developments on marine mammals, seabirds, and the commercial fishing industry. Invoke the “precautionary principle” that has been ignored by Biden regulators related to these costly and possibly deadly projects.

5 — Order the Interior Department to immediately and aggressively restart the moribund oil-and-gas leasing program on federal lands and waters. Direct the Interior Department Inspector General to investigate the Biden-era manipulations of these programs for potential criminal violations.

6 — Form an interagency task force to recommend ways the executive branch of government can act to streamline permitting processes for energy projects that do not require congressional action. Congress has proven several times now that it is incapable of passing legislation in this arena.

7 — Place an immediate hold on all green energy subsidies pending a full compliance review. This should include any and all subsidy programs that were part of the IRA or the 2021 Infrastructure law. This review should also include suggested reforms to qualification requirements for these subsidy programs in light of the high percentage of bankruptcy filings by unsustainable companies that have benefited from these subsidies.

8 — In light of the Supreme Court’s recent recission of the Chevron Deference, order the Environmental Protection Agency to review the rationale for regulating atmospheric carbon dioxide, aka “plant food,” as a pollutant under the provisions of the Clean Air Act.

9 — Order an interagency review of the U.S. power grid and transmission infrastructure as they relate to national security concerns. Include a special focus on the current, growing trend of major tech firms locking up power generation assets for their own specific needs (AI, data centers, etc.) which might deny generation capacity that would otherwise be dedicated to the public grid.

10 — In light of recent reports of Biden regulators steering billions of dollars of IRA and other green energy funds to NGOs to provide funding for anti-fossil fuel propaganda, lawfare, and other abuses of the legal system, order an immediate freeze on all such spending pending a formal review.

In reality, this list could consist of hundreds of high priority items for the new administration to undertake. Such is the level of damage that has been wrought on American energy security by the outgoing administration.

But executing these ten items in the early days of his second term would represent a good start and place the country on a path to recovery. We wish Trump and his appointees the best of luck in restoring U.S. energy security.

Tucson Teacher Arrested For Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor

Tucson Teacher Arrested For Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor

By Staff Reporter |

James Badger, 45, a Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) teacher was arrested for sexual exploitation of children.

Badger taught at Tucson High Magnet School (THMS). He was arrested on Tuesday by the Tucson Police Department and charged with ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The statement of probable cause for Badger’s arrest cited child sexual abuse material (CSAM) images downloaded to his computer.

“On a computer belonging to James the Sandra series from BitTorrent download was located on this computer, along with other CSAM material. A manual preview of the device showed there was a large amount of CSAM on the computer,” read the statement. “10 images were selected that met the criteria of sexual exploitation of a minor. These images included prepubescent females below the age of 15 that were nude in sexual poses where their genital area was the focus. They lacked breast development or pubic hair.”

Badger formerly taught at Parker High School, where he oversaw the drama club. Badger left after an undisclosed controversy, apparently concerning his inclusion of “anything gay” within the drama department’s productions.

In March 2023, Badger posted the following on his Instagram with a partial picture of an email depicting a threat to him:

“For the record: I didn’t get fired, but someone wants to fire a gun at me, and they’ve said so very explicitly. I didn’t resign, but I did tell admin[instration] that I will not be coming back after this year. I won’t be on campus for a while, but I will finish out the year,” wrote Badger. “To those who have been kind and welcoming to us over the years: thank you. To those who let bigotry and pointless political divisions cloud your judgement: grow up. To those who have mocked, gossiped, and threatened: go f**k yourselves.”

Badger then moved on to teaching at THMS.

In a February 2024 post depicting the “second annual drag show” at THMS, Badger shared his satisfaction with THMS tolerance to LGBTQ+ ideologies for minors. That drag show was sponsored by the school’s Q Space club. Q Space clubs encourage students to adopt LGBTQ+ identities and ideologies.

“Interesting to see such an event proceeding with full support of the school’s administration,” wrote Badger. “For years I wondered what that would be like, and now I know: it’s super normal.”

The THMS Q Space club advisor is a transgender man, Sunday (formerly April) Hamilton. It was Hamilton and another former THMS counselor, Zobella Brazil Vinik, who began organizing THMS drag shows featuring the high schoolers. Vinik was arrested for having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl in 2022.

According to various posts on his Instagram page, Badger was a supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, along with mainstream progressive ideologies: Black Lives Matter, critical race theory, LGBTQ+ ideologies, and abortion.

In another post in the weeks leading up to the 2024 presidential election, Badger expressed his fear of Donald Trump winning the presidency and his belief that the government would murder him and his family under a Trump administration.

“Trump will win this election, and fascism will take hold in America. Nothing matters, and nothing can be done,” wrote Badger. “When you come to kill me, please don’t let my wife and children see. When you come to kill my wife and children, please don’t let them see it coming. #notkidding #thesearethestakes.”

Lesko Pushes For Comprehensive Audit Of Maricopa County Election System

Lesko Pushes For Comprehensive Audit Of Maricopa County Election System

By Daniel Stefanski |

A longtime west valley public servant is making good on a campaign promise in her new office.

Former U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko was sworn into the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors for District 4 on Monday. In a post following the ceremony, Lesko said, “Honored to be sworn in today as your Maricopa County Supervisor. Thank you to the great people of the West Valley for your continued support! My priorities include public safety, election integrity and ensuring your taxpayer dollars are used wisely.”

In her first address as a county supervisor, Lesko confirmed that she would be “pushing … for a comprehensive audit of the entire election system in Maricopa County” – as a part of her priority to safeguard election integrity in her jurisdiction, which she had promised voters on the campaign trail. Supervisor Lesko also clarified her strong desire that this audit would be undertaken by a “reputable firm.” She received applause from some members of the audience at the Board of Supervisors meeting – its first of the new year and term.

The new chairman of the Board, Supervisor Thomas Galvin, announced that he and his colleagues would, in fact, spearhead a “comprehensive review” of Maricopa County’s elections this year to “ensure we are operating at optimum quality.”

Supervisor Lesko also noted her call late last year with the Florida Secretary of State and Arizona Senate President, where the group discussed “the differences between the states’ election systems and…areas where we can improve.” Republicans on this board will be looking to the Governor and state legislature to enact changes in statute to improve speed and efficiency of election results across Arizona.

Lesko’s successor in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Abraham Hamadeh, noted the efforts from his predecessor on the election front, writing, “Congratulations to former Congresswoman and now Maricopa County Supervisor Debbie Lesko on her swearing-in! Supervisor Lesko is already hitting the ground running honoring her commitment to election integrity by proposing a full audit of our election system processes.”
